Nice use of color! I think it's awesome that you were able to make different mixes/tones of green to separate the meadow from the trees and the mountain. The sunset is very soft compared to the shadowed trees and makes for a lovely background!

ReplyDeleteRebecca, I really like this painting. The colors and the textures mix well together and they create a pleasing picture to look at. My only recommendation is to add variety to the trees in the background just because nature is never straight and perfect. I think that you did a fantastic job!
ReplyDeleteI like the more natural colors you chose. I also like the gradient in the sky, it really adds a nice touch to the piece. The soft rolls of the hill really contrast the different shapes in the trees, well done.
